Commercial building inspections will involve an evaluation of a building or property used for commercial purposes. Commercial buildings include retail shops, office buildings, residential units (Ex. multi-family or single-family dwellings), and more. 

It's a huge investment  to buy or sell commercial property, so having commercial building inspection done is key so you can identify problems and issues.

What does a commercial inspection involve?

A visual inspection will be done to check for function and safety hazards, and other problems with any part of the building.

1.      EXTERIOR
The building will be walked several times looking at various items including:

  • Exterior finish (i.e., stucco, wood, brick, stone, vinyl, etc.)

  • Windows

  • Doors

  • Roof types (i.e., composition shingles, tile, roll roofing, etc.)

  • Fascia and Soffit boards

  • Gutters

 

2.      INTERIOR

After the exterior is complete, a thorough examination of every room that is available to inspect:

  • Flooring

  • Ceiling and walls

  • Electrical

  • Windows

  • Doors

  • Plumbing
     

3.      SYSTEMS

  • Heating and Cooling Systems

  1. HVAC Systems

  2. Evaporative Coolers

  3. Wall Heaters

  4. Mini-Split Systems

  • Water Heaters

  1. Tank Water Heaters

  2. Tankless Water Heaters
